Membership pays! Refer a Friend Program

You can earn $10 for each new member you refer that opens a Countryside FCU Account
It's simple!

* Just fill in the form and give it to the friend you are referring. Click here for form (PDF).
* Ask your family member or friend to turn it in when they open an account at Countryside fcu.
* Once the account is opened we'll deposit $10 into your share/savings.

Employees of Countryside Federal Credit Union and its affiliates are not eligible for the referral program.

Program rules:

Only members of Countryside Federal Credit Union (Countryside FCU) whose accounts are in good standing, and who are at least 18 years of age may participate in the Refer a Friend program. A member of Countryside FCU is eligible to receive one incentive per referral, regardless of how many accounts are opened by a referred individual, when the referred individual opens a Countryside FCU Account with a minimum deposit of $5. The referred individual must not be an existing member of Countryside FCU or a member who closed an account within the last 6 months. Limit of new member referrals is 10 @ $10 each. Employees of Countryside FCU, its volunteers and its affiliates are not eligible for the referral program. A referred individual must qualify for membership and comply with Countryside FCU's approval requirements for a new account. A member may not engage in any fraudulent activity to earn a referral incentive. In addition, no 'spamming' is allowed. If we believe, in our sole discretion, that a member has engaged in fraudulent activity, or is 'spamming' email accounts and/or addresses, we reserve the right to setoff against the members Countryside FCU deposit account(s) to recover any incentive payments, and the members Countryside FCU deposit accounts may be closed. In order to participate and be eligible for the Refer a Friend program, a referred individual must redeem the official referral coupon when applying for a new Countryside FCU share/savings account. Additional coupons can be obtained at www.countryside.org. A member will receive an incentive only after the referred individual has been approved and opens a Countryside FCU Account. All Refer a Friend incentives will be paid within thirty (30) days after verification of account opening, crediting the referrers share/savings account. If, prior to the payment of Refer a Friend program incentive, the member's account is closed, the member will not be eligible for incentive payment. If referred individual does not open a Countryside FCU account within ninety (90) days of the date shown on referral coupon the member will not be eligible for the incentive payment. Program incentive payments may be reportable as taxable income for federal, state and local purposes. The determination of any applicable tax liability shall be the recipients' sole responsibility. This program may be modified or withdrawn at anytime without prior notice. This offer can no be combined with any other offers or promotions. Countryside FCU reserves the right to end this program at any time. This program is sponsored solely by Countryside FCU, 5720 Commons Park Dr, E. Syracuse, NY 13057. The effective date of this document is November 1, 2008.
